Larsen Violin strings made in Denmark. One of the best strings around. Very neutral in sound and really bring out the best in your violin. Fairly low tension with good projection and lovely organic tone. These strings will tame almost any violin without choking it. Made with a multi strand synthetic core, the G and D strings are wound with Silver, the A with Aluminium. The E string is carbon steel. They are described by the manufacturer as - re- liable and highly suitable for bright sounding instruments in need of extra warmth. Not cheap but well worth the money
